The Gospel of John

The Gospel of John is the most intimate and all-encompassing of the four works written by the Gospel writers. John deliberately wants to give us an understanding of Jesus that the Synoptics (Matthew, Mark, and Luke) don’t portray.

In our series, I want to explore how and why John so intricately interwove various themes into the signs and wonders of Jesus that “display His glory.” John’s Gospel is also more epic than the other three—its beginning harkens back to the existence of the Word before all is created.

Jesus is clearly revealed as the “I AM”—the LORD of the Jewish people—who has become flesh for the salvation of the world.

Join us in our series as we see how the Spirit revealed to John the majesty of the Word become flesh.
